Nerf Arena Blast, released in 1999 by Visionary Media on Unreal Engine 1, is a wonderfully weird FPS: a family-friendly multiplayer shooter where the weapons are Nerf toy blasters instead of real guns. No violence, no blood, just foam darts, rubber balls, and bright, loud competition. Nerfmatch, Arena and Capture the Flag modes, maps with high-energy music and amusement-park colors. For plenty of players it was their first FPS that didn't get the parents mad, and today it's a collector's oddity almost nobody runs.
