Call of Duty: United Offensive, released in 2004 by Gray Matter Interactive as an expansion for the original CoD, pushed World War II to another level. Longer, more intense campaign missions, a ranking system in multiplayer (a fresh thing back then), playable vehicles (Sherman and Panther tanks, jeeps, bomber planes), and new weapons like the flamethrower, BAR, PPS-42 and Scoped Enfield. Domination and Base Assault modes on huge maps — Cassino, Stalingrad, Crossroads, Berlin, Foy — with jeeps tearing across the field at full speed. Plenty of players still consider it better than base CoD1.

Old Servers runs a free dedicated CoD: United Offensive server, 24/7. Classic modes (Deathmatch, Team DM, Capture the Flag, Base Assault, Headquarters) with the original maps, including the big tank ones.
