QUAKE CHAMPIONS: DOOM EDITION
> How to play Quake Champions: Doom Edition online in 2026
Quake Champions: Doom Edition (QCDE), released in 2017 as a total-conversion mod by the Doom community on the GZDoom source port, takes the Champions from Quake Champions —with their unique abilities and lore— drops them into Doom maps and tech, and lets them tear each other apart. BJ Blazkowicz against Slash against Anarki against Ranger against Doomguy against Visor, with active abilities (dash, teleport, berserker, hoverboard), beefed-up weapons, classic powerups, and maps mixing Doom with Quake. It's pure fan service and it runs on almost any PC because, underneath, it's still Doom.
Old Servers keeps a free dedicated QCDE server online 24/7, running on Zandronum. You join with the Launcher available from our Discord, or directly by IP. Quake-style arena multiplayer with playable Champions (around 20) and more than 50 maps available. No messy install —if you already have the Doom WAD, you're good to go. Perfect for anyone who wanted Quake Champions without Bethesda/Saber's monetization model getting in the way.
