Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, released in 2003 by Raven Software on the id Tech 3 engine (yeah, the same one behind Quake III Arena), has the best lightsaber combat in videogame history, and we're not shy about saying it. Saberlock system, three combat styles (Fast, Medium, Strong) plus double-bladed and dual sabers straight out of Darth Maul dreams, nineteen Force powers to pick from (Mind Trick, Lightning, Push, Grip, Saber Throw, Heal), a campaign with moral choices that affect the ending, and multiplayer modes like Duel, Power Duel, Free For All, Team FFA, Capture the Flag and Siege.

Old Servers runs a free, dedicated Jedi Academy v1.01 server, 24/7. Multiplayer with Duel, FFA, CTF and Siege, plus active admins to deal with laggers and keep the Padawan dojo clean.
