Unreal Tournament 99 (also known simply as UT), released in 1999 by Epic Games and Digital Extremes on Unreal Engine 1, was the direct counterpunch to Quake III Arena and an arena shooter a lot of players preferred for its style and modes. Six game modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Assault (objective chains), Domination and Last Man Standing.
